If you are Unable to access Netgear router through IP 192.168.1.1!!

Through NETGEAR Genie: To install NETGEAR Firmware update, you need to ensure that the latest version of NETGEAR Genie is being run on your desktop or mobile. Launch the NETGEAR Genie app on your device and go to Router Settings section. Log in to the router using login default credentials. Once you are logged in, click on the router update button. Finally, click on Next button. It takes some time to upgrade to the latest firmware. Once the download process is complete, uploading of the firmware will start. Model number is the unique identification number that is assigned to each product by their manufacturer. It becomes the main identity of any product in the market. You can find the model number on back or bottom panel for your Netgear devices.

  1. A reset button is located on the back of your router, locate and press to hold the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button for about 7 to 10 seconds.

  9. Click on the Login button to log into the router once again with your new password.
